Bizzarrini

Bizzarrini is one of the most influential and important names in Italian sports cars, founded by the racing driver, engineer and innovator Giotto Bizzarrini in 1964. As the man responsible for bringing the iconic Ferrari 250 GTO into the world and for designing the very first Lamborghini V12 engine, Bizzarrini is one of the all-time greats of Italian automotive history.

Giotto Bizzarrini also created some of the most beautiful road and track machines of this golden era. Working alongside the equally legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro, every car that bears the Bizzarrini name displays a rare combination of artistry and innovation.

These qualities are embodied in the Revival Series, 24 hand-built examples of the most celebrated car to ever wear the badge, the 5300 GT. The new Bizzarrini 5300 GT Corsa Revival marks the first step of Bizzarrini’s modern journey, a chance to experience this authentically storied brand as it embarks on a new chapter.

The Bizzarrini 5300 GT was originally developed as a high-performance variant of the Bizzarrini engineered A3C. Designed by one of the world’s most influential automotive designers, Giorgetto Giugiaro, with refinements by Piero Drogo of Carrozzeria Sports Cars, the 5300 GT was noted for its remarkable beauty and pure competitive spirit.

The 5300 GT was light, fast and reliable, powered by a tried and tested V8 engine. The car is famed for its class win in the 1965 Le Mans 24 Hour Race.

The 5300 GT Corsa Revival encapsulates the spirit of a bygone age of high-performance race cars, and the thin line that Bizzarrini drove between road and track. The Revival series is a true tool room continuation model. Each car is hand-built by a team of highly talented engineers and craftspeople with decades of experience at the cutting edge of competition sports car construction and restoration.

The use of a lightweight composite body, as was the original car, over a light tubular steel frame delivers a power to weight ratio comparable with that of a modern day supercar. Performance is provided by a period-correct 5300 cubic centimetre V8 delivering upwards of 400 horsepower,
with safety being enhanced by the addition of an FIA-certified full roll cage and fuel cell.
