Wings of Freedom

Casmin Group is proud to unveil a breathtaking one-off commission that redefines the boundaries of motorcycle design: the “Wings of Freedom” — a custom-painted Renard R100 brought to life through the visionary artistry of Maxim, frontman of The Prodigy. Debuted at the inaugural MotoArto exhibition in Shoreditch, this unique creation stands as a testament to the power of collaboration between cutting-edge engineering and contemporary urban art.

Founded in Estonia, Renard Motorcycles has long been synonymous with precision craftsmanship and avant-garde design. Known for their low-volume, artisanal builds, Renard blends classic mechanical engineering with futuristic aesthetics. The brand’s revival after the destruction of its original factory in 1944 is a story of resilience — one that continues to inspire its philosophy today. With the R100 series, Renard channels this legacy into machines that are not just vehicles, but sculptural expressions of speed and soul.

Maxim, best known as the electrifying voice of The Prodigy, has carved a parallel path in the world of visual art. His work is bold, surreal, and emotionally charged — often exploring themes of transformation, memory, and defiance. For “Wings of Freedom,” Maxim drew inspiration from Renard’s wartime history, painting a pair of angel wings scorched at the edges, rising through smoke. The imagery evokes loss and rebirth, turning the bike’s sky-blue tank into a canvas of resilience and transcendence.

Commissioned exclusively for MotoArto and curated by Casmin Group, “Wings of Freedom” is more than a motorcycle — it’s a myth in motion. This Renard R100 No. 005 is the first in Renard’s new Art Motorcycle Series, where machines become stories and engineering meets emotion. It stands as a singular piece in the collector’s world, never to be replicated.

Casmin Group is honoured to have facilitated this extraordinary collaboration, where the roar of the engine meets the silence of reflection — and where every ride carries the wings of freedom.
