Evice

Evice Cars are a British company specialising in the restoration and reimagination of classic Rolls-Royce vehicles. Founded in 2023, Evice focuses on models such as the Rolls-Royce Corniche and  Silver Shadow, transforming them into electric vehicles that blend timeless elegance with modern technology.

The company’s approach involves comprehensive, bare-metal restorations, ensuring each vehicle is brought back to, and beyond, its original form. Evice integrates a bespoke 800V electric powertrain into these classics, delivering enhanced performance and reliability while maintaining the luxurious driving experience synonymous with the original marques.

Evice’s bespoke 800V architecture is seamlessly integrated to deliver uncompromising drive. Effortless power combines with advanced noise isolation and suspension systems to deliver luxurious silence with unrivalled composure.

The company offers a tailored commissioning process, allowing customers to personalise every aspect of their vehicle, from design elements to technological features. This ensures that each car reflects its owner’s vision while honouring the legacy of the original design.

Evice operates independently and is not officially endorsed, supported, or affiliated with Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited. The company is dedicated to ensuring these iconic cars remain a vibrant part of a sustainable future, combining heritage and innovation to deliver exceptional driving experiences.

Evice’s reimagined Corniche maintains the timeless aesthetics of the original model. The company focuses on preserving the vehicle’s classic beauty and soul, which they believe modern designs cannot replicate.

The reimagined Corniche is equipped with Evice’s bespoke 800-volt electric powertrain, delivering smooth, silent, and powerful performance. The integration of active suspension and upgraded braking systems ensures a refined and composed driving experience.

Evice’s journey began with the XP1 prototype, based on a Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. This prototype served as a foundation for developing their bespoke 800-volt electric powertrain, which is now being applied to the Corniche model.

Nick and Ian visited their factory recently and were impressed with the level of attention and detail that went into the original vehicle restoration and preparation through to the development of their bespoke EV system.  At the time of our visit they were conducting a range of tests on their prototype, out in all weathers.

We spend some time with the founders discussing their ambitions, their approach to customer engagement and the specific EV technology they are developing for use in this and future planned models.  The office was bustling with enthusiasm from the team of designers and engineers.  We would be happy to organise a visit for anyone considering converting their own Rolls-Royce or adding an electrified version to their stables.
