In the heart of the Cotswolds, Sebring Works is redefining the automotive landscape by seamlessly blending the timeless elegance of classic sports cars with the cutting-edge technology of electric vehicles. Founded by husband-and-wife team Gary and Rebecca, the company emerged from a passion for classic automobiles and a vision for a sustainable future. Their journey began with converting traditional classics to electric powertrains, addressing issues of unreliability and handling. This has evolved further into the creation of their in house developed EV chassis that is the platform for their models styled on the iconic designs of sports cars from the 1950s and 1960s.
Sebring Works currently offers three distinctive models:
(1) Sebring Speedster
The Speedster’s design is inspired by the iconic Porsche 356 Speedster, featuring sleek lines and a minimalist aesthetic that captures the essence of mid-20th-century sports cars. The body is crafted from fiberglass, balancing lightweight construction with durability.
Capturing the spirit of 1950s open-top driving, this model offers a nostalgic yet modern driving experience. Equipped with an electric powertrain, the Speedster accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in approximately 5 seconds and has a top speed limited to 100 mph. It offers a driving range starting from 200 miles on a full charge, making it suitable for both daily commutes and leisurely drives.
(2) Sebring Coupe
Reminiscent of a popular ’50s European sports car, the electric Sebring Coupe evokes memories of racing days from times gone by. The Coupe’s design draws inspiration from iconic European sports cars of the mid-20th century, featuring sleek lines and a streamlined silhouette that captures the essence of that era. The body is crafted from fiberglass, balancing lightweight construction with durability.
